I have Lancia Delta -92 and some days ago a SPI light came on, from this forum I found this ECU fault codes and the way how to read them, but I have
little problem I don´t understand polish. So I would be very thankful if somebody translates this text above.
It concerns the engines with singlepoint SPI controlled by central unit. Without having an examiner you can perform a simple diagnosis of the damaged sensors, interruptions and short-circuits. You have to locate the socket to connect the external examiner, by ignition turned off clench the ends A+B and then turn on the ignition. SPI indicator will start flashing according to the code.

3rd picture: and find the end looking like this:
As for the attached picture
In the SPI system, into the memory of the central device there were insterted the failure codes of the system.
This makes the check of the system easier.
Before checking you have to connect the contacts of the control-lamp to the ends of the turned on ignition switch (look at the picture).
Codes:
1-2=no error registered
1-4=short-circuit in engine temperature sensor
1-5=opened circuit of the engine temperature sensor
2-1=damaged sensor of the position of the throttle
2-2=damaged sensor of the position of the throttle
2-3= damaged sensor of the air temperature
2-5= damaged sensor of the air temperature
3-3= damaged sensor of the absolute pressure
3-4=damaged sensor of the absolute pressure
4-2=a damage in the ignition system
5-1=damaged central steering device
5-2=damaged central steering device
5-5=damaged central steering device
In order to remove some failure codes from the memory of the central steering device you have to disconnect the battery (accumulator) for at least 10 seconds.
All clear? Any questions?
